We are 2 sisters, Lindsey Sanders & Laney Barrett, who have learned to be good stewards of what God has given us by saving money with coupons. We've learned how to save an average of 50-60% or more on our weekly groceries. We've also found out ways to score FREE products, samples, and get great deals on Health & Beauty products, as well as Cleaning & Household Products in addition to our awesome grocery savings!
I, Laney, began couponing in October of 2010. Since I learned how this really works and began seeing all the benefits, I wanted to teach my family and friends how to do so also. I shared my secrets with my sister, who was skeptical at first. In January of 2011, she began couponing for her family and began immediately seeing how easy it really can be. The two of us began sharing our savings online through our facebook pages. We had so many people asking, "How did you do this?" They were shocked, and wanted to know how to do it themselves. We finally decided that it would be much easier to teach them all at once. We hosted our first Sisters & Savings "Learn to Coupon" Workshop on February 19th in Louisville, MS. The workshop was great, and we had several people ask, "When are you doing another workshop?" We hadn't really thought of doing another one at the time, but we decided to plan another one because of all of the interest shown. We started our facebook page, Sisters & Savings, so that our Sisters whom we've taught how to save could share their savings with us. We also wanted to keep in touch and share more secrets with them including daily deals, information about our workshops, and more of our own savings. One of our savers told us about an opportunity with the Clarion Ledger... they were looking to do an article on "Extreme Couponers". We interviewed with them and were featured in their Sunday edition of the newspaper the following weekend. Our facebook "likes" doubled in only a few days after this article ran. As our second workshop was approaching, we had people ask, "We can't make it to your workshop... Can you come to my house and teach us how to coupon?" We certainly couldn't pass up an offer like this, and from requests like those, we began offering Sisters & Savings "Learn to Coupon" Home Parties in addition to our workshops. Since we officially turned our "hobby" into a "small business" in February of 2011, we've taught many women how to use coupons effectively and save money for their families. We love to coupon, and the way we do it is very easy and time-efficient. We want to teach you how to use coupons effectively too! It is completely free to host a Sisters & Savings "Learn to Coupon" Home Party. All you have to do is book a date with us and let us know about how many guests will be attending. We'll bring workbooks for each guest. Home Parties typically last about an hour and a half to two hours.
